Ai Kuwabara played piano solo shows in Kobe and Osaka on July 19th and 20th, 2018

You must have been made to realize how hard it would be to transfer from electric organ to acoustic piano.

She put a lot of thought into the tour title "Play with Bones".

Ai Kuwabara solo did bang-up jobs on YAMAHA in Kobe on July 19th and on Bösendorfer in Osaka on July 20th, 2018.

Kuwabara enthusiastically told the audience about the importance of the bones when playing piano. She said she learned about the bones function and structure to improve the skills so that the piano would really sound.

She also explained the reason why she constantly moves her body on the piano chair is because she shifts her center of gravity according to the playing.

Kuwabara added she had been "in a fight" with the piano since she began playing it and wanted to share the story with her fans in person in the live performances, not through media coverage.

The album she will launch in August 2018 was another topic she called the audience's attention to. Kuwabara was so excited to talk about her new style of musical expression, rather than the formation of piano trio she had focused on in her previous CD production.

The shows for the two days were impressive enough to believe in the promising future of the pianist.
